Questions about Upgraded URLs

Hello

I have a question about upgraded URLs.

Currently, my destination url looks like that:

www.example.com?utmx={creative}

What I need to do so I'll be able to use the upgraded URLs?

Thanks,

Hi @dudu m,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

For the URL you referenced, the upgraded URL structure would be -

Final URL = www.example.com

Tracking Template = {lpurl}?utmx={creative}

Thanks

Hey Ratan,

Thanks for your answer.

I have 2 more questions:
1. I have other ADS that include parameters to my website,
the link looks like:
www.example.com?utmx={creative}&h1=shoes%20for%20sale
(the h1 parameter are change the headline of my website)
What I need to do in this situation?

2. How can I add the new ADS without delete the history stats?

Thanks,

More question.

I tried to do what you said and that's not works.
When I clicked on my ad the url was www.example.com and not www.example.com?utmx=70341214

70341214=Ad number (for the example)

Hi @Dudu M,

Once you added the final url and tracking template, you test your final landing page by clicking the test button at the ad level tracking template. It will give you an idea as to how your actual landing page url will look like.

Once you have added, give it sometime to reflect. It must work.

To your next question, if you are not changing anything in the destination URL, simply separating the final url and tracking template, it will reset your history. To know more, visit  https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6157310

To your first question, you will need to use Custom Parameters.

Thanks
