Hey Mohd,

Welcome to adwords community. It seems you are new in Adwords. I would suggest to go with Auto Bidding. Let the Google decide the price for click. For new users, Auto Bidding is the best option. Once you gain experience, Go with Manual Bidding.

Now, You and your competitor both are bidding for a same keyword. May be same price. But bid more is not only option to get you ad on top. Relevancy, Landing Page experience, Overall ad performance matters. So read and start slowly.

Let us know for further assistance.

While one of the answers here suggested that you use Auto-Bidding, I would suggest you stick with Manual Bidding so that you can figure out a few things that effect your account. If there are no clear answers then you can go to auto-bidding.

If you have good Quality Scores (QS) use Adword Extensions, write Good Ads that sync with the keyword you are going after that also have a USP ( unique selling proposition), and have a good landing page, you can determine what Ad rank ( position) as well as Bid price brings you the most conversions and profits..

You can pretty much figure out what your competitor bid is by placing a bid, wait about 10 minutes and check your position using the Ad Preview Tool. Repeat several times to see where your ad rank position is based on your account settings and criteria as opposed to your competitors.

Also it could take about 10-20 clicks before you get 1 conversion. so you may want to calculate how many clicks you can affords daily.

Next, Test which position brings you conversions at the lowest cost. So bid for position 1 for a day, then bid for position 2 for a day. Etc. Find out what brings you the most conversions at the lowest cost per acquisition and brings the you the most profit.

Constantly check your data.

Learn about keyword match types
Learn about Negative keywords
Learn about campaign settings
Learn about conversion tracking
Learn about Ad extensions

Constantly test, learn, understand your data, and let the data make your decisions.

Hope that helps
