Promoting my own channel

Hello everyone, a few days ago i tried promoting a channel trailer video for my channel using adwords in hopes of having a bit of an increase in some of the numbers in my channel (views,likes,subs)...

Good thing was that the views did increase, but the subscribers and likes and dislikes all remained the same, I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong, and how to fix it, because all I want is to promote my channel to make it grow slowly, I dont want thousands of views with only 5% of them being my real subscribers..

Thank you.

Hi @Arzzk C,

From an AdWords perspective, your situation is similar to a scenario where you get lots of website traffic that do not convert. The typical reason is a discrepancy between what users expect before the view starts and what they experience during it. What you are advised to do is to enhance the relevance between those 2 factors.

Best,

Lakatos
