I have set up a very basic product listing campaign. Just one ad, all products as auto target, merchant center account verified. I have reviewed your instructions carefully, yet no impressions at all. Can someone help please?

Hello,

Please go trough these troubleshooting verification points too :

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2868170

1. Verify if the campaign is linked to the Google Merchant center account in the Ad Extensions tab

2. Check in the Ads tab to see that there is at least 1 Ad entitled "Product listing ad"

3. Check the campaign settings if you have conversion optimiser turned on, turn it off. Also in here check if the location targeting of the campaign is one of the countries which allow running PLA : Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, the U.K., and the U.S.

4. If it fits your budget strategy, try to raise your daily budget to allow at least the performance of 100 clicks at your current bid of 0.5 $, meaning 50 $, you can lower it after receiving impressions. This is just to eliminate the daily budget as a cause for low serving.

Hello Javier S,

According to this feedback from a Google specialist , there is a delay of a few days until impressions are generated : https://www.en.adwords-community.com/t5/Ad-Approvals-and-Advertising/PLA-Approved-vs-eligible/m-p/23...

How much time has passed since you started this campaign ?

However some more things to check :

- the status of the feed - to be eligible or approved

- the ad group to be enabled not paused

- the bid to be high enough for the start, not very low like 0.05 $ or 0.1 $ , this could cause low impressions

- the daily budget of the campaign to allow at least a few dozen clicks per day at your set MaxCPC, if you set your daily budget too low ad get served rarely.

- avoid using a large list of negative keywords from another Search campaign with the PLA, generate a separate list for this campaign.

Here is also a useful source of information for setting up PLA campaigns :

Hi Adrian,

thanks for your interest.

- I started the campaign a couple of weeks ago.
- The feed is ok, no warning messages.
-The ad group is enabled
- The bid is 0.5 $
- Daily budget initially 10$
- No negative keywords at the moment

Other adwords campaigns for the same products (not product listing) are runnig fine.

What else should I check?
