Permanent ad removal

Hello, I have used Ad Words since the beginning.  I have some very old ads which I deleted, but instead of being removed, they are still there in a 'greyed out' mode.  There are so many that I am finding it difficult to find the ones I want to use.

I have tried selecting the ad and using 'delete' from the drop down menu with no luck.  Anybody?

Thanks, Lawrence.

Hi there,

If you'd like to see campaigns/ad groups/ads that are enabled, you can select the 'All enabled' option, as shown in the screen grab. In case you don't want to see deleted campaigns/ads, but want enabled and paused ones to be displayed, you can select 'All but removed'.

Hope that helps!
