Overwriting Merchant Center shipping settings with feed

Hi, sorry if this has a simple solution but I'm having a lot of problems figuring it out.

I have an account in Merchant Center where every product over £25 is eligible for free delivery; everything less, the shipping is £1.99.

I have inputted these rates into the Merchant Center shipping table. However, these details are currently being overwritten by the rate I've got listed in the product feed itself under the shipping price attribute. When I tried to simply remove this attribute, the entire feed stopped working as the shipping price attribute is required.

What do I need to put as the shipping price in the feed in order for it to defer to the rates I've listed in the Merchant Center?

Thanks

shipping is required -- but not required to be submitted;
any shipping submitted for an item will override any and
all shipping-settings within the account, for that item.

there are several ways to address the issue, including:

for a tab-delimited feed, leave shipping entirely empty (entirely blank)
for those specific items and be certain that the items match an entry
within the account's shipping-rate-table.

for an xml-feed or the api, do not submit any shipping, at all, for those items,
and be certain that the items match an entry within the account's rate-table.

if no shipping is submitted for any item,

then all items must match a shippping

setting within the account; so, multiple

shipping-settings may be required.

or, use a feed-rule in the merchant-center-account --
possibly in conjunction with the shipping settings;
although, this is not the best of the solutions and

usually requires a lot of careful consideration.

note that after most changes within the account --

the product-feed data must be resubmitted and

the changes may take 72-hours or so, before

being applied to all items.

always verify shipping has been assigned to the item --

either sent in the submitted data or set in the account --

by clicking on the item's title under the products-list tab

of the merchant-center-account and inspecting the

details under the shipping-rate-calculator section.

if an item does not match an entry within the account's shipping-settings,
such as a rate-table, and also does not have any valid shipping submitted,

the item will be flagged for a policy violation.

Thanks for the reply. I am using an XML feed generated by the Woo Feed plugin for WooCommerce. I've tried leaving the shipping price field blank and removing it entirely, however both times Google rejected every product in the feed on the basis of the shopping price attribute being missing, despite the table in the Merchant Center having all the required information. Can you advise? Thank you

first, you're welcome.

generally, either the data is being submitted improperly, or
the item is not matching an account-level shipping-setting.

to defer to the merchant-center shipping-settings,
no shipping elements, whatsoever, can be submitted
for the item -- and the item's remaining attributes
must fall within the shipping-setting's ranges of
defined rates.

the entire shipping-attribute (element) for the item
cannot not be submitted -- not just shipping-price.

account-level shipping must be set, so that the proper
target-country and (active) shipping-service definitions
match the item.

however, forum members cannot look into any data or accounts.

the best likely course would be to first contact woocommerce-support
or whoever is supporting the specific plugin being used, to verify
that no shipping data, whatsoever, is being submitted for the item --
and then, contact a support-specilist at google to verify the item is
matching a shipping-setting service in the merchant-center-account.

Thanks again for the help Celebird - I've had another look at this based on the information you've provided, and I think the issue is that the plugin I'm using automatically adds a shipping field no matter what I do, so removing the shipping price results in the error. I will contact the plugin publisher to see if there's a way of circumventing this issue.
