Hi Everyone,

It’s been a long time since we had any post about Landing Page and Site Policies and therefore, this week, I am going to talk about our ‘Unclear Billing’ Policy.

Before you decide to advertise any site with Google AdWords, it is important that you pay attention to the billing part of your site. I do understand that you do create sites to sell your products and therefore it is always a good idea to ensure that users are aware of all terms and conditions of your product’s billing.

Make sure that your site complies with all the below points:

  • If your site is selling any products,  make sure that the pricing and billing is clear and upfront. After all, you do not want your prospective clients to search around for the price right?

  • At times, you may already have this information on your site. However, it may just be in fine print and users may not be able to locate it easily. So, it is always a good idea to have these details on a prominent location of your site.

  • If you are promoting a subscription service or plan to sign up users for recurring billing do make sure to indicate this on the page where the user signs up.  Also ensure, that for such products, there is an opt-in checkbox indicating that the user agrees to both the price and the billing interval in order for them to continue with the sign-up process.

  • Finally, I do understand that the pricing of your products do not always remain constant and can vary over time.  In case,  this happens, make sure to immediately reflect the same on your site as well so that users are aware of this change.

If for some reason, your site is affected by this policy, do make sure that your site is compliant with all the points above and then write in to us by filling up the ‘Contact Us’ form. We will be glad to look at your site and provide more details on why the site may have been considered to be in violation.

As always, I’m happy to answer any questions that will help you to understand this topic better and therefore please feel free to sign up and post any questions which you might have about this policy.

However, I would like to again reiterate that this is an open forum and therefore I wouldn’t be able to answer any account specific questions, as I don’t have an access to your account. You are always free to ‘Contact Us’ through our various support channels which you can find here.

Looking forward to your exciting questions!

Regards,

Subharaj

Hi Subharaj121,

I am running the small business for our clients, we have about 200 clients from last month, first when we create the campaign, we have to contact to the Google Support, after review our account, they said its ok to run and i check my campaign i can see it. Until now, after about 1 month, about 150 accounts has been suspended.

The thing is when i check the account, a lot of them has been suspended right after the automatic payment success, few of them can not successful with the automatic payment. With that particular problem, i check with the banking and they said its Google problem, they said my visa is ok to use, nothing is wrong. So why with the same visa credit card, some account is success with the automatic, some are not. Then it must be Google problem which is what i thought.

However, if the automatic payment is not success then my account is die, and in this case i thing ( not really sure ) other related account that use the same visa credit will die as well.

And now i do not know what to do, i still have 56 accounts are running but they just keeping die day by day and i can not do anything, visa is clean, nothing has been changed in the campaign, website is working, website contain information is ok. Then what make my account has been suspended when i already contact them before my ad is running.

Thank you for your time and hope u can help me, thanks a lot

Hello BaoSPT,

I am really sorry to hear about your new client accounts going under review after account creation because of billing verification reasons. However, my post is not about the billing for an AdWords account but is more about the billing practices of a site which is being promoted through AdWords.  As you can see, these are two different topics and since your question seems to very account-specific, I would suggest you to write in to our friendly Google AdWords Team and they will be glad to address this.

Sincerely,

I am going to have a discussion with "real search value", whom called me, and they said that they are part of Google Adwords

Is that the case?

Can I trust this company?

Can you tell me more about them, before I get involved?

realsearchvalue.com is the name they said and said I could find them in the Help button.

Thanks

Lee (sopactitle)

Hi sopactitle,

I think your question is not related to the discussion on this thread. You can ask users for an opinion in the category called: Community lounge.

Hi Subharaj121. I already contact and call to the Google Support but they do not give me the reson why, they still said that my accounts are suspended and can not give me the reason, i would to have some one like you can have look at my MCC and see my billing as well as the history. I can sure all of them are very clear and nothing wrong.

I really want to know how can i sort out the problem. Google must have a way to help people like us to fix the problem, not to stop them and do not give any reason even-though i do nothing wrong.

And sorry Subharaj, i know my topic is dfferent but i really want to get your extension. I am sorry about that but i have no where to go now, you are the only hope that i think now and i hope the community can help me out as well.

Thank you for all people who viewed this messeage and please drop me a message if you can think it might help me.

We are a small company with 22 workers and about 200 clients are waiting for your help and please help me.
