I've checked all the crap that is linked. And really, it is pretty unclear how to simply raise my bid amount. How do I raise my bid amount so the ads appear.

Hi @Dan H,

If you open AdWords and click on the keyword tab, you see all of your keywords. From there, you can change the bid for any of them.

Before you do, let's set up your dashboard so it is more helpful.

1) Click on the Keywords tab.

2) Click on the drop down menu labeled 'Columns' and then Modify Columns.

3) Now, click Attributes and then add: 'Qual. score' and 'Est. first page bid.'

4) Click Apply at the bottom of the page.

Now, you can see the status of your keywords, which will say 'Below first page bid' and you can see the Est. first page bid required to earn a first page placement... and you can see the quality score for each of your keywords.

If you want, you can go back into the modify columns and drag the Est. first page bid to align next to your status, which is how I like it. And you can also add Est. top page bid and Est. first position bid... but the more you add to your dashboard, the harder it gets to see it all on the screen, if you have a smaller monitor.

Please take a look at this and let us know how things go. We are here to help further.

Kind Regards,

James
