My UAC ad isn't delivering to my iOS users

I created a UAC for Android and one for iOS. The Android ad is delivering fine, but my iOS ad isn't delivering. I set them up with the same features so I'm unsure on why my iOS ad isn't getting the impressions I want.

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for posting to the Community. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your new iOS UAC campaign. It's difficult to diagnose this without looking at your account, but if the campaign isn't showing impressions at all, it may just be that the campaign is still going through approvals (this can take a few days initially).

If the iOS campaign is getting impressions but not delivering any installs, it could be that the cost-per-install you've set for the campaign is too low for that device type. I would recommend reading over our Help Center section on this campaign type to make sure you've set a reasonable cost-per-install.

Hope this helps!
Cassie

Thanks for getting back to me Cassie. It's been a couple weeks now since I placed the ad, so waiting for it to be eligible I'm not sure is the problem... Is there any way you CAN go into our account and figure out what the issue might be? The ad has a budget of $150 per day and it's spending like $1-2. That doesn't seem right. The cost per install I set was $1.25 per install and that's based off what we usually get from FB/Instagram ads for iOS. Google Ads have performed much better than our FB ads too, so I figured that was a good enough bid. Am I mistaken? I looked at the Help Center article you sent me and it's not very helpful on explaining what amount I should be spending... So it's still unclear to me, sorry!

Let me know your thoughts and if you have a solution. Thanks for your help!

Hi, @Lisa N and @CassieH. I have exectly the same problem with iOS UAC. Daily budget is 200$, taget CPI is 6$, and still it gets insignifican volume of impressions - from 10 to 15 per day. And I think target CPI of 6$ is pretty much high for an iOS install in my target location (tier 3 country).

@Sergey K and @Lisa N Unfortunately we don't have access to your accounts from this public forum. Beyond ensuring that you've set a reasonable cost per install (which it sounds like you have) and that you haven't set too restrictive targeting, the next thing I would recommend is for you to get in touch directly with the AdWords support team via phone, email, or chat. They'll be able to look at your campaign in-depth and spot if there is anything amiss.

Hi @Sergey K . Always make sure that the daily budget is 50x your cpi bid.. so if you're bidding $6 you'll need to have a minimum daily budget of $300 for the campaign to work properly. You can also keep the daily budget at $200 but reduce the bid to $4.

@CassieH trying to reach AdWords support is a really hard thing to do since they did everything to not be reachable. Can you please give me the link to send them an email?

@Malak K Why does it need to have a budget of 50x times higher CPI?

if I want to set a $20 daily budget do I need to set CPI at $0.4?
