Market Research Campaign Sructure

Hi!

I am working in a market research company the conductes several regular market studies for different b2b industries.
It's main target clients (companies) are from Telco sector, Banks and Insurances sector, Automotive and Digital marketing sector.

Now, I'm running an adwords campaign structured like this:

SEARCH - AUTOMOTIVE STUDY

SEARCH - DIGITAL MARKETING STUDY

SEARCH - BANKS STUDY

SEARCH - INSURANCE STUDY

But I think this is not the best way to organize the campaign, because, I will have for example, the keywords "study" and "market study" in all campaigns, which it is not logic at all. Moreover, I think that keywords are keywords for an institutional/corporate campaign.

What are your toughts about this?

Thanks

Yes, You should create different campaigns for Specific Market Research e.g. Automotive, Banking, Insurance....

Hi Joao,

Yes, You have created campaigns structure in right way.
I will recommend you to 2 option:-
You can run campaigns with Exact & Phrase Match keywords then you have keywords will not conflict each other campaigns.

Or

If you are running campaign with all match type keywords then you should add negative keywords as per below example.

SEARCH - AUTOMOTIVE STUDY
Negative Keywords - Digital, Bank, Banking, Insurance

SEARCH - DIGITAL MARKETING STUDY
Negative Keywords - Auto, Automotive, Bank, Banking, Insurance

SEARCH - BANKS STUDY
Negative Keywords - Digital, Auto, Automotive, Banking, Insurance

SEARCH - INSURANCE STUDY
Negative Keywords - Digital, Bank, Banking, Auto, Automotive

Please let us know if you have any query on this.

Thanks,
Anand

Hi Anand!

imagine I create a branded campaign for the company. I will have something like this

CAMPAIGN - COMPANY ABC
ADGROUPS 1 - MARKET STUDIES
KEYWORDS 1 - market studies, market studies companies, b2b market research

ADGROUPS 2 - RESEARCH STUDIES
KEYWORDS 2 - research studies, research studies companies, b2b research studies companies...

Or, I also can use SKAG (in the beginning), as this is a very specific field of work with a few keywords to search.

If you notice, I will have the keywords "market studies", "research studies" as branded keywords in this campaign, but I think it will be mandatory to have them in the other campaigns (studies campaigns above). And this will low the campaigns performance....am I thinking right?

Thanks

@João M,

I would suggest you to create BMM match type with the following structure.

Keywords Ad group Negative Keywords
+market +studies +Market +Studies company, companies, research
+market +studies +companies +Market +Studies +Companies research
+b2b +market +research +B2B +Market +Research studies, study
+research +studies +Research +Studies market, company, companies
+research +studies +companies +Research +Studies +Companies market
+b2b +research +studies +companies +B2B +Research +Studies +Companies market

This will stops cannibalization among the keywords.

@RAKESH Kumar,

I tought that.
But my big doubt is about the products campaign. Cause we are a market researh company (branded keyword for institutional campaign), but the products are called market research study for automotive industry, or automotive market researc...What would you suggest I do to the Camapigns regarding the specific market research studies? Automotive, Banking, Insurance....

Hi Rakesh!

sorry to ask again the same question, but what about the keywords "market reseach" "research studies" in this campaigns?
Example:
CAMPAIGN AUTOMOTIVE
ADGROUP AUTOMOTIVE MARKET STUDIES
KEYWORD AUTOMOTIVE MARKET STUDIES
Will they conflict with the branded campaign keywords (marke studies)...What are your toughts about the best keywords strategy to apply in this campaigns/adgroups
