I have a 10.00 product that I am selling on my website.  I have to have a low price per click. Do you think Adword is the way to go? www.thesunpatch.com.

Hi Kurt,

As I think you are, you'll really need to take a look at this from a profitability perspective.  If you're selling for $9.99 - how much of that is profit?  How many clicks will it likely take before you get a sale?  Do those clicks cost you more than your profit?  Online advertising can get tricky and you're smart for exploring this before diving in.

You'll need a really strong plan of attack for a product like this.

Hi Tommy thanks for the advice, I have about an 8 dollar profit margin so I have no problem in sharing a 10% marketing cost per item. What are your thoughts and who can I get to create a great Adwords campaign with a great ROI on The SunPatch.
Thanks

Hi Kurt

I want to add my suggestions here, I think you should try with display network for this kind of products on the website related to car accessories and all where people look for some equipments for their cars. As per my thinking, there are not enough searches on Search network for this product keyword, if you add a keyword "car sun patch", then I think Google will keep this keyword in "Low Search Volume" category and won't display your ads.

One more suggestion if you are promoting your product and website offline as well, then use Adwords re-marketing feature to capture those visitors you have visited your website earlier, this will help you to maximize profitability of your offline marketing efforts .

My views!

Abhishek

You should consider display instead of search for launch.
