Hi All,

I am confused in Lookalike Audience.

I have created Lookalike Audience through Shared Library in Custom Email list.

Q . Lookalike Audience Work on Search or Display both?

Q. Which type of Ads Format work in Display campaign - Normal Text Ads or Responsive Banner Ads or Gmail Ads?

Q. If anyone tried already this campaign, please confirm how it is performing?

Thanks,

Anand

Hi @Anand Kumar

'Lookalike Audience' is more popular in term of Facebook ads. With Google AdWords, it's called Similar Audiences (if not a beta feature).

Next, Similar Audiences cannot be created manually. The system checks re-marekting lists for eligibility and then makes it available for targeting. In general, if a remarketing list has more than 500 cookies and enough similarity in characteristics and interests, the system creates a corresponding similar audience list.

About its availability for targeting, it can be used with Display Network Campaign, Gmail and YouTube, and Search in general. However, a similar audience list that is created from Display Remarketing List, is not available for Gmail and Search. Similarly, Customer Match based similar audience is not available for GDN in general but YouTube, Gmail, and Search.

About supported ad formats, you don't need any specific ad formats to target these audiences. Any ad format that is available for the campaign type in question can be used.

Thanks
