Keywords with or without hyphens and slashes

Hi all

Excuse my question if this is actually something obvious - I have searched around the deocumentation and community and can't seem to work out if slashes and hypens within keywords are ignored or not.

Let's say, for example, that I want to use a serial number as a keyword:

100/11-abc

If I wanted to make sure my ad was picked up for the following variations:

100 11 abc

10011abc

100/11-abc

10011-abc

Would I need to add all four variants as keywords, or would they all be interpreted the same?

Hope my question makes sense.  Any help will be appreciated.

cheers
