Hi,

I am using keywords planner. When i download the search terms in the excel file, i do not get competition volume as low, medium or high, rather i get some figure in decimals. How can i get the comp volume  as level?

TIA

Hi Rakhee,

Google always show Competition Value in Number. Please find below the URL for more details:-

"Google calculate the number of advertisers targeting each keyword relative to all keywords across Google. This data is specific to the locations and Search Network targeting option that you've selected."

Thanks for replying , Anand. When i look at keywords planner in adwords, i see the levels of competition. My Q is that why don't i see the same in excel after downloading the search terms.

Hi Rakhee,

The competition that displays in planner is just for you convenience but in actual it counts between 0 to 1 where "1" refers to high.
