Keyword Match Types..

Hi,

 

I need to know about the difference between match types.

 

+shoes +nike

will the above BMM show ads for search term - shoes from nike & shoes from nike in delhi.

 

+buy +shoes

will the above BMM show ads for search term - buying shoes & buying nike shoes

 

??

"+shoes +nike

will the above BMM show ads for search term - shoes from nike & shoes from nike in delhi."


Answer: Yes, the above BMM will show your Ads for both of the Search terms.

 

"+buy +shoes

will the above BMM show ads for search term - buying shoes & buying nike shoes"

 

Answer: Not 100% sure on this one, but Broad Match Modifier does work on "close variations" of your words so my guess is that yes, it will show.  That being said, I'd add the Keyword: +buying +shoes just to be safe.

 

Add the Keyword explicitly will guarantee that you'll enter the AdWords auction when those search terms are queried, and it could help your Ad Rank and give you more efficient CPCs when your Ads are clicked on.
