Item uploaded through multiple feeds

I'm not sure why I got this message but I guess I'm not doing something right. After I generate a feed I go to the Data Feed screen and delete the feed that is currently there which is google.com. I then create a new feed and I also name it goggle.com.  Is this correct or is this the reason why I'm getting the warning.

Thanks

Hi Wanda,

You generally do not want to delete the current feed when you update your feed. Rather, you can manually upload a new version of the feed to update it. That way, your items stay in the same feed but you are able to update the information:

  1. Go to the Data Feeds section of the Merchant Center
  2. Click on the name of the feed you want to update
  3. Click the Manual Upload button
  4. Click the select file button in the pop-up window
  5. Open the necessary file, and upload it. It will replace the previous version

Thank you Cassie, will this procedure work also if I wanted to do a test upload or does it matter. I am so very new at using Google Merchant and it's about to drive me crazy. I've been trying to get an error free feed for almost three months now with no success. Every time I think I've got it figured out my feed comes back with errors and warnings. I've read and reread only to end up more confused. So even the small victories make me feel like I've won the lottery.

Thanks again Cassie.

Hi Wanda,

To upload a test feed, you'll want to follow the steps here (slightly different from what I posted above): https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/1188998?hl=en&vid=1-635798390268692375-3645851084

Have you tried contacting Adwords support? We definitely don't want you struggling on your own like that, and they can help you look through the data feed and resolve errors if you still have trouble after going through above steps. Contact info for our specialist team here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/8206?hl=en&vid=1-635798392838298682-3645851084

I didn't know about Adwords support, thank you once again Cassie. Now I think I'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
