I'm trying to make conversions fire when a use clicks a button on one of our pages. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Bruce,

Yes there is. I would suggest using event tracking in Google anlaytics

First you will need to slap this into your <A> tag

onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'category', 'action', 'label', 'value']);"

You can change out category, action, label, value for what you want. Only category and action are required you can leave out the other two.

Then you'll want to create a goal in anlaytics (under the admin section) and the type you want is event. Then fill out the category, action, label and value the same as the one for the link.

Starting in mid june;:

In Adwords go to Tools & Analysis > Conversion and you'll be able to import your goals as conversion into your AdWords account.
