Inserting Multiple HTML5 Display Ads in Adwords Editor?

Hello Community,

I have created some HTML5 ads (as zip files) and I was wondering if it is possible to insert these multiple Display ads (Note: these are different from Image ads) through Adwords Editor.

I know it is possible to insert multiple image ads (file extension .jpg, .swf, png, and .gif) and the instructions for that are here: https://support.google.com/adwords/editor/answer/65472?hl=en , but is it possible to insert HTML5 ads (file extension .zip) in Adwords Editor? If yes, could someone please show how?

Thank you in advance Smiley Happy

Best,

Shreyans

As luck would have it, we have just released the new version, Editor 11.3. This version supports HTML5 ads. Create or edit an image ad; Editor now accepts ZIP files (presumably holding HTML5 content) alongside GIF, JPG, PNG and SWF for the image.

You should be prompted for the upgrade sometime today; or download the new version manually at https://www.google.com/adwordseditor/

Hi Shreyans,

To the best of my knowledge, it doesn't currently support bulk adding of the HTML5 ads as .zip files.

Here's one thread that I found which answered the same query long time back:- https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Advanced-Features/bulk-upload-html5-banners-to-GDN/td-p/42...

@Rakesh Kumar, any thoughts?

Hello Shreyans,

Pankaj is 100% right. Till now AdWords Editor is not supporting any.Zip file. You can insert only images with extension .JPG, .GIF, .Png, or.Swf nothing else. I hope it will clear your all doubts.

@AdWordsEng-Igor So I have downloaded the new editor (11.3), but I still can't find a way to upload HTML 5 ads as ZIP files. As you can see in the images below (sorry for the porrt writing) there is no provision to add ads, in display ads. Could you please let me know how files can be added? Thanks!

Excuse me for repeating myself: "Create or edit an *image* ad..."
