Importing GA goal to Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

Hello!

I have 3 goals imported from G Analytics, one for each of the 3 brands I manage.

I am setting up 3 separate campaigns in G AdWords, again, one for each brand.

How do I attribute the correct imported conversion to the correct brand/campaign?

Thank you for your help!

Hi Zeljka,

As with all AdWords conversions, any ad/keyword can trigger any conversion.

If you have a keyword for Brand A, and the ad sends them to a page about Brand A, and the searcher then navigates to a page about Brand B and buys Brand B, then the keyword for Brand A will show a conversion for Brand B.

What is your concern?

I see. So it sounds like as long as they only visit Brand A website, then the conversion will be documented in Brand A campaign. I wondered if I missed a step - where I needed to specify/link the imported conversion to the correct campaign (as you do with call extension conversions).

Thanks for your help Rob.

Just to reiterate - there is no need to link conversions to campaigns. Any campaign can trigger any conversion that is in your account.

If you want to have different conversions for different products / pages / websites then make new conversions for them.

Call extensions/conversions are the exception.
