IOS App Campaign - Sending Main Link Traffic to App Store?

Hi,

I'm wondering what the best practices are for IOS app Campaigns.

Here's my current setup:

  1. Main link sends to website LP, where website call to actions tells users to visit the app store
  2. Mobile App extensions send users directly to the app store
  3. Display URL uses our websites domain name

Here's what I would like it to be:

  1. Main link sends users directly to app store
  2. Mobile App extensions send users directly to the app store
  3. Display URL uses the "itunes.apple.com/myapphere" as the display URL

My concern is this will run into copyright issues with Apple?  Or is the best practice to do the setup I already am currently using?

Hello, Insta C.

From what I can tell, app promotion ads are exactly what you're looking for: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2549053?hl=en#app_promo

The only thing is that they only run (naturally), on the devices compatible with the respective app store. If you promote an Android app you'll only see the ad on android devices and the same for iOS ads.

Let us know if it suits you, please.
