I would like to bid less for my display network clicks.  How can I configure this?

Hey Bobby, how are things?

I'm guessing that you have only one campaign running for both Search and Display network, is that the case?

If that's the case, I strongly advise for you to create separated campaigns for each one. This will provide you with more flexibility over settings such as the bids.

This article may also help you find your way on changing your bid: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2470113?hl=en

Hope this helps.

segmenting from Display and Search is the best option to ensure full control over display pricing while not effecting search campaigns.

Alternatively you could manually adjust the bid pricing on the placement end but that is more a hack then anything else.
