How to have an ad for a specific keyword

Is it possible to have an ad that is in an ad group but is only geared specifically to one or two keywords and not all of them? If so how do I go about doing that?  Otherwise would I have to just make a whole different ad group for just a couple keywords?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi,

The latter option is what you're looking for. If you want to create an ad for a specific keyword or two, separate them into their own ad group.

Ad groups should only consist of very similar keywords anyway. You can have thousands of campaigns and ad groups, so make them as specific as you can and create highly relevant ads for each.

Hope this helps.

Ryan.
