How to avoid self competition
In my campaign, one ad group contain keyword car rental which is broad match and another ad group contain keyword family car rental Pune which is exact match. Will they compete each other? how should I overcome this problem?

Yes they can compete against each other.
But you can avoid it by adding the exact match keyword [family car rental pune] as a negative keyword in the broad match ad group (ad group level).
And it is advisable to use modified broad match rather that the default broad match to get more control over your ads.
