I would like to run small campaign to see what results come in and what more i need to do.Rather than a direct debit automatically being drawn, I would like to set a fixed amount to begin with.Is this possible and how does the charging work/what rates do I pay?

 Hello Jay B

Google may spend up to 20% more of your budget any given day, but you will never be charged more than your daily budget multiplied by 30.4 (average days in a month) With that in mind go ahead and set up your accont and and devide your your budget by 30.4 and use that as your daily budget. That way you will not be charged more then you are willing to pay for your account.

You could also set a automated rule so that when you account hits a certin doller amount it will pause all the ads.
