Hi @Jakub M,

Congratulations on becoming certified and wanting to expand your intelligence to best assist your clients and grow an agency.

Many people become AdWords certified for many reasons, but when you are wanting to do so as an AdWords advertising professional you should consider staying in touch with Google Partners here on the Advertiser Community. This is where advertising agencies are and those that are under constant learning and growing our agencies. Crawl through all of the categories.

Another rich learning resource is with the Learn section here on the Advertiser Community. Lots of truly great content to build from.

I would also recommend you sign up and dig in at Google Analytics Academy. One cannot be a great advertiser without understanding the metrics & data, which is where Google Analytics is king. When you master Analytics, you will master much success. This is vital.

Another great resource to visit often is Think with Google. This will bring a lot of goodness into your mindset.

Of course, the AdWords community that you are now using is an endless stream of learning, so stick around and enjoy!

Please have fun and learn. As for learning and doing... I like to spend no less than 20% of my time "forward thinking" and upwards of 30%. I consider forward thinking continuing ed, tests, studying, helping here, researching trends, future tech, marketing history and stuff like that. I am a badged Google Partner and if I can help with anything related to Google Partners, please just let me know.

Kind Regards,

James

Hi Jakub,

The best place to learn about AdWords is the Google Partners section (linked below). This allows you to study the material and become accredited once you've completed the exams.

Hope this helps,

Hi Jakub,

Great question!

Here are some resources I recommend:

As Pankaj suggested, you can ask specific questions in this forum for advanced help.

Best,

Note: this post has been edited by a Community Manager, per Community Guidelines, in order to remove self-promotional content. Please also note that we tend to discourage links to outside content. At the very least, rather than simply providing a link, please also include specific information regarding why you believe the particular sites you've linked-to sites are worth the close attention of Community members. In other words, rather than simply recommending, please explain why you recommend the particular sources out of the thousands available. This would be  more useful. Thank you for your understanding.

The SEL daily newsletter is a great source for homework outside of official Google resources. Ginny Marvin is the AdWords/PPC specialist, and her posts are always short, comprehensible, and up to date with the latest information. A lot of Danny Sullivan's stuff is a "must read" as well, even when it doesn't particularly apply to AdWords.

Larry Kim and Brad Geddes in particular are two of the most well known and respected independent experts in the field. You can find them on all the social media, subscribe to their newsletters, read their articles, etc.

As far as time is concerned - You have to put a lot more time into learning when you're just getting started than you do once you have some experience. Typically Tuesday and Thursdays are my "homework" days, and Monday, Wednesday, Friday are when I do my "rounds". It takes some time to see what affect if any changes and optimizations have.
