Hello,

I would like to know if I choose to spend Rs100 ($1.8) a day on my Ad campaign, how many times my Ad will be displayed or in simple words what does it costs for the Ad to be shown per view?

I have clients who wont understand the daily budget system they would want to know in nutshell how much it costs per view.

Thanks

Gagan.

Hi Gagan,

In case you are talking about Google search network, the ads and charges are based on Cost per Click system, where any user when clicks on your client's ad will be charged.

In case you want to target Google Display Network, then you might be interested in choosing another bidding option i.e. Cost per thousand impressions or CPM based model.

Cost per View is only applicable for Video Campaigns.

Hello Pankaj,

Appreciate your speedy response,

I actually went to YouTube and was redirected to this community so i thought its related to YouTube only, Anyways let me put it this way

I went to YouTube and entered MTV Coke Studio and clicked on a video, now before I could see that video a "Sony Vaio Ad" or sometimes a movie trailer starts rolling and after 5 seconds SKIP AD tab is activated.

My question is:

a) With Google Ad words my Ad will be played like that "Sony Vaio Ad" ?
b) If the viewer clicks on SKIP AD tab, will I be charged?

I'm a filmmaker my clients want that there Ads should also be played on YouTube as a trailer while they are telecasted on TV.

So I hope I'm on the right track.

Thanks

Hey Gagan,

I think the scenario you are explaining here looks to me the format which is True View In stream video ad for the Video campaign. I would suggest you to read out the below reference explaining pricing and all details:
