Hi there,

How do I upload my existing customer emails to exclude them from my campaigns? I was able to do this very simply in Facebook but I cant find a similar option in adwords?

Thanks Smiley Happy

Hi Kelly,

This is a pretty easy process. First, create an audience in AdWords using your customer emails (instructions here). Next, add this audience as a campaign exclusion to all of your campaigns (instructions here).

Hope that helps!

Hi JimVaillancourt,

Perfect thanks, I have just followed all the steps. But when I uploaded my email list (excel file) - it said that only 17 out of 7000 were uploaded and to check the format. The email formatting is correct. Would you have any idea about this?

Thanks again!

Hi,

I have never personally had issues to that extent. Here are some general guidelines on formatting the emails:

-remove any extra spaces before or after the email address

-make all characters in the email addresses lowercase

-make sure email addresses follow this format: someone@example.com

-separate email addresses with a line break or comma; they must be uploaded in a csv file.
