How are Campaign Budgets split among Ad Groups?

Seems like I should have found this on my own but I cant - sorry.

How can I make sure all my ad groups are getting an even part of the budget I give to the Campaign they're under?

For example - I noticed much more ads are being shown to Male vs Female, and I don't want that so I want to split the campaign into 2 Ad Groups and make sure they get even funding. Will that happen automatically? Is there a setting I am not aware of?

Thank you in advance

Eli

Hi Eli,
Why not put them in different Campaigns?
See which of your ad-groups are performing very well and which are performing badly in the Search Terms Report. Accordingly split your campaign so that all your ad-groups get the required money to show up on SERPs.
Hope it helps!

Regards.

You might be able to set an automated rule for Ad Groups to pause when the ad group hits it's daily budget

Hi Eli,

Budget is allocated at the campaigns level only.

To cope up with the budget issue, you need to create separate campaigns and adding both the ad groups to the different campaigns with separate budget.

I noticed much more ads are being shown to Male vs Female.
Is it a display campaign?
