Hi Vandana, further to Shuva's excellent response, I'll just add my own thoughts.

While you certainly don't have to be a marketing person to use AdWords, it is these days a relatively complex product with a lot of different options and methods of advertising, some of which require careful setup, adjustment and monitoring.  AdWords is not a "set and forget" product so you must anticipate it will require several hours per week - especially in the beginning - to achive the best performance.  If your time is better spent in the mangement of your business, you should ask yourself whether it is economic to employ a professional in that role, who's only job is to manage AdWords on a daily basis and understand these complexities, rather than spread yourself too thin and possibly without benefit.
