Hi am pretty new to Adwords.

am running ads for my niche website..

My question is ? i have selected only 2 keywords for my campaign

1. Best Pole Saw

2. Best pole saw to buy.

But my ad is showing for so many irrelevant keyword which i don't want to rank.

Example: My ad has clicks from the following keywords

20 foot pole saw
chainsaw pole pruner
extendable chainsaw
pole chainsaw
pole saq
pole saw direct reviews
pole saws
pole saws for sale
poll saw
what is the cost of a steel pole saw ..

Even though i haven't mentioned these above keyword in my campaign why it is showing?

Then what is the use of providing specific keywords in the campaign.. Am bleeding out hell out of money because of these useless keywords..

How can i use only keywords that i have mentioned.

Do i have to provide these keywords in Negative Keywords? to stop showing ad for these keywords..

Please do somebody help me..

Thanks and regards

Hi RMK.

I Understood Your Problem. I was Pretty Sure That you used "Broad Match Keywords".

As you like to advertise with only two keywords I like to Recommand Exact Match Keywords.

Exact Math keywords Syntax :

[keyword]

Egi :

[Best Pole Saw]

[Best pole saw to buy]

Spoiler
How can i use only keywords that i have mentioned.

Yes, you need to change the keywords match type from Broad to Exact match.

Do i have to provide these keywords in Negative Keywords? to stop showing ad for these

Yes, you are using the broad match type keywords you need add those irrelevant terms as Negative.
