Hello BlueCatPro,

Thanks for posting in the forum! Before I go further, I want to explain that no one on this forum has access to your account, including Google employees such as myself. I will do everythign I can to help, though!

Per our AdWords Copyright Policy, streaming services are only permitted when there is explicit permission from the copyright owner for you to stream said content or if the content itself is not copyrighted. It appears, based on how you have described your product, that you provide streaming services for non-copyrighted material. If this is true, I would suggest that you reach out to the person in support that you were working with before by replying to your email from them. Please explain that the content you provide is not copyrighted and that you would like the ads re-assessed.

In addition, you can feel free to contact a new member of the support team by selecting 'Contact AdWords' in the upper right-hand corner of this website.

I hope this helps!

Hello BlueCatPro,

Do you have the broadcasting rights to the webcasts and webinars you are streaming to audiences? If the AdWords specialists have reviewed your ads manually and still believe you are violating copyright policies then I would considering comparing your business model against the link they provided you with. If it was an automated review then the "Web Video Streaming" part of your ad may have flagged your ad for the violation.

It's hard to say without seeing your site.

Hello Scott,

Yes, absolutely we have a right to broadcast the content. In simple terms, client like a bank comes in and says ok we want to broadcast live our conference to deligates who cant make it in person, we do the entire solution.

Site is webvideostreaming dot co uk

Hi BlueCatPro,

Have you tried filling in the following copyright documentation form and resubmitting your ads?

Hello Scott,

There is nothing to copyright as such, or will I all of a sudden need to produce a copyright doc for every single event we film?

Its a live event webcasting, which is hosted and organised by the client and fillmed by us. There is no copyright as such involved because we are not displaying any 3rd party material.

Any way, I re-phrased the add a bit and looks like it has "eligable" status for now, so lets see what happens.

Hi BlueCatPro, I'm going to escalate this thread as I think it's an interesting situation.  I'm certain your site/business is not what's intended by the spirit of the policy against streaming sites - particularly as you're advertising the service not the actual stream, if you see what I mean.

Regards,

Jon

Thank you Jon,

You got it spot on, that is exactly the "mad" part of this. We offer a service, not the actual "stream of any content".

Thanks for this hope someone else will benefit from this duscussion as well.
