Hi Guys

What does it mean when the mobile bid modifier is Grey instead of Black? has anyone seen this before? does this affect anything? or has any hidden meaning behind it?

Grey vs Black Mobile Bid Modifiers?

Hi @Boyang S,

I'm fairly certain that a grayed out bid adjustment is displayed when the adjustment is happening on a different level of the account than what you're viewing.  For instance, perhaps you're looking at an ad group list here, some ad groups may have adjustments at the ad group level (black) while others may have an adjustment at the campaign level (gray).

Same thing happens with bids, it's essentially an indicator that an adjustment/bid has not been applied at that particular level for that particular element within your account directly, it's being applied from a higher up level adjustment/bid.

Hope this helps!
