Got account suspended - "Landing Page and Site policies"

Hello, this is my first post here and i look forward for help now.

This post related to one website only - http://max-cook.com

 

 As stated my topic name - account has been susbended because of - "repeated violation of AdWords or Landing Page and Site policies". That was a bad surprise for me, because previous compaign for same site was succefull. And then I started new compaign, configured it and been approved, loaded money for it and approximately after 6 hours received an e-mail containg  information about account suspending. My futher steps were get some detailed information about suspension and i wrote a support questions to adwords, waited a week - no reply, wrote 2 more e-mails again, same no reply. And after one month just today wrote next one.


 During this month i've changed few things on website to make it easy to navigate for people - rewritten main menu now it has highlights for each category, made forum and contacts links more visible, added subscription for news and recipes, added articles' announces on front page, added convinient comments form, changed fonts to more clearly detach headings from articles, integrated statistics counters, added related content for all recipes, created recipes snippnets for google search, replaced old search with instant Ajax.


 As I can't get any replies from official adwords support i started this thread.

The most confusing thing for me that first compaign for same website just passed normal. And also wondered why personal cooking site of my wife may cause violation - she used to keep her own step by step cookings recipes and not selling any profitable services or goods, completely non-commercial website to which i planned to attract more visitors to participate in her blog and forum.


 Maybe i did mistake somewhere, that's normal for all people and i'll be very appreciated if adwords support or willing people points me where it is. Personally I don't want to loose adwords account because have some plans for other projects and even I agree to stop advertising wife's blog through it, but keeping me with active account.

Hi Demontager,

 

Many folks have experienced similar issues recently and have posted here as well...run a quick search on the community and see if any of the previously posted suggestions can assist you.

 

P.S.  You should edit out your customer ID from your post and any personal information from your screen shots as suggested in the Community Guidelines, it's for your privacy.

Hello Demontager;

First, please edit your question to remove any personal info, account ID and account screenshot: those are not allowed according to posting guidelines of this community,

 

At first glance, without going through the content of your site (since it is NOT in English ), it seems that your account has been submitted to review. Have you been trying to call Google CS?

Tom and I posted at the same exect minute: in 20 sec. difference, so you got both of us, asking you,  to remove account info...(This community has strict privacy guidelines...!)

Got it - removed any ID.

MosheTLV, it is not clear for me - "Google CS". What is it ?  Yeap, website is in russian i hoped i may ask for non-english too.


PPCBossman, I read through the threads related to accounts suspension, and also i read adwords rules regarding landing page and site polices, that's why tried to put website to more usability look for people, but the problem is - it is very hard to guess what else need to be done or redone to match rules which not cleary described for all.

Thanks for following the guidelines.

 

  • CS= Customer Service ("Google on the phone" - as I call it) . Have you called them asking to explain the reason?
  • Though this community is mainly an "AdWords users engagement field", it is also moderated and regularly monitored by Google. hopefully, a Google employee will check this post- and will be able to give some insight.
  • I also asked a colleague of mine, who is fluent in Russian, to have a look at your site, to tell me, if there could be any content that might NOT be "in-line" with AdWords policy.
  • If you run a search, in the search box of this community, you'll find many posts, lately, on account suspension. Some of them were suspended for a routine audit of landing pages, that Google perform continuously to verify compliance with Policy.- This led me to speculate, that it had been also your case.
  • And last comment; I do agree with you, that in many instances, I find Policy to be vague and unclear

Thank you very much, it sounds very promising now.

Sure i'll do phone call to Customer Service the only reason i had't done it yet, because of my seaman job.

Calling GS is probably your best bet...I saw this post from Google Employee SarahH on a similar post to yours:

 

"There are a number of reasons that could lead to an account suspension related to a violation of our terms and conditions. In some cases, we're able to provide details and request a re-review from our specialist team. In others, for security reasons, we're unable to provide further information.

 

It's best to contact our support team via 1-800-2GOOGLE to ask about your specific situation for your account. Our team would be happy to research further for you.

 

Thanks for your understanding, and sorry to not be of more specific help (since we're not able to access/post about your account specifics on this forum)."
