Google not crawling dash/hyphen

Appreciate some help or advice.

Our page: www.tailor-m.com has been indexed but only occurrences of the keyword "tailor" is being picked up from the landing page. Our brand name which is Tailor-M is not being seen by Google as one keyword.

Some suggests that Google ignores the dashes or hyphens (maybe a myth!), just wonder if there is any advice on helping Google recognise that this is our company name and index it as a keyword?

Thanks,

Horace

Note: this is an AdWords forum, and your question is SEO related...

My 2 cents:

Do this Google search - your brand has been indexed a little bit:
site:tailor-m.com "tailor-m"

It doesn't help that there are also brands called M-Tailor and TailorM out there.
