I want to create two different feeds for India and USA. When we create need data feed in merchant center account we can select the country which you want to target. But do we have to create subdomain for targeting different country. They said my feed will be disapproved if i will target same domain for USA and India. So should i need to create two target different domain or is there any alternate way through which i can target USA and India. In our site we have details in INR and USD both but Google said we can not target both country with same url. So what is the solution for this. Looking forward for guideance as soon as possible.

Hi Bhavik

A target country is determined by the registered target-country within the
initial stages of setup.

Your website must adhere to all the specifications laid out in the terms
and specs here - https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160637
- https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188494

I believe, that what you were told may be that you are not allowed to use
the same feed to target multiple countries. This is not allowed and will be
rejected and cause your feed/account to be suspended or disapproved,

Changes to the site is imperative, this means you must adhere to the rules
and policies of the target country and a different feed created with the
appropriate landing pages, this must show in the target language, currency
and all other target country specifics set.

Importance must be shown in the ID attribute, pricing and shipping please
ensure every item has a unique ID to the other feed. For example

USA1234 - item 1 in USA feed. Price must be in USD. Shipping & Tax must be
correct for each state you ship to.
IN1234 - item 1 in India feed, Prices must be in INR, Shipping & Tax must
be correct to each customer based on location.

You could use sub-directories or sub-domains for a secondary target country
if you wish. However, values selected from a drop down menu would not be
suffice unless you can predetermine these within the link attribute. For
example - http://www.yourlink.com/item1234.htm?country=IND

If you do use this method, be sure to test it thoroughly.

Hello Bhavik,

Where did you see that requirement of having multiple domains or sub domains to target different feeds for different countries?

As far as I know, it is not the case, but yes your landing page targeting India (for example), should have product prices listed in INR and must be exclusive of taxes and all. This is one of the requirement.

You can read country specific requirements here for US and India: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/160637?hl=en

Hi Tom

Thanks for your reply.
I want to target USA and India for Google Shopping. In my site we have mentioned prices in INR and USD both. So we are going to create two separate feeds for both countries with value.
But they are saying you can't target two different countries with same link in PLA. They also said you can't do http://www.yourlink.com/item1234.htm?country=IND url for India and http://www.yourlink.com/item1234.htm?country=USA for USA. They said you have to create subdomain for targeting different country otherwise feeds will be disapproved.

But how can this happen because we are going to show indian price for feed in India and for USA feed we are going to add prices in USD. So is there any way to solve this other than subdomain.

Hi Bhavik, what was the solution to this issue? Did you have to create subdomains for targeting different countries or were you able to use http://www.yourlink.com/item1234.htm?country=IND url for India and http://www.yourlink.com/item1234.htm?country=USA for USA?

Hello Allison,

No i didn't require to create subdomains or http://www.yourlink.com/item1234.htm?country=IND url. I had submitted Two separate feeds for each country and in my website we had written prices in both currency. So our feeds are approved and working properly without creating different links for each country. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the response Bhavik, that is helpful to know. So you didn't have to create different links at all for the different currencies? I thought that was part of the requirement...what did you do, list the two different currencies on the same product page? I would love to see what you did with your site if you wouldn't mind posting a link. Thanks!

Hi Bhavik

How you upload two separate feeds for single country?

suppose you wish to sale for USA and your website having same domain in India and USA. Here my query is did you apply USD currency and INR currency both for USA or something else?

Thanks
