Please could someone direct me to the tech specs for Image ads in the Google Display Netwo

Apart from the pixel sizes of the ads there are a couple of points that tend to trip people up...

 

1 the ads need to be less than 50kb - this is quite small and you will often need to play with the artwork in Photoshop to get within this limit...

 

2. If your ad has a white background be sure to  put a frame around it - even if it's just 1 px. without this Google often refuses to upload the ad with the message that it's too big - even though it is within the 50kb limit outlined above.... this one had me pulling my hair out for some time a while back - check my photo - you'll see it's true!
