I want to change my Adword bid from automatic to manual, But when i try to do so..

It shows me the message..

"Your change was not applicable to any of the selected rows. No changes have been made default max CPC. "

And the strange thing is that, google has kept the automatic max CPC at very high price. And it's not even allowing me to mange my own bids (manually).

Please help me through this situation..

 Not sure what action you took, but there should be no issues switching from  auto bid to manual bidding;

The provided link is about some basic concepts of Adwords.

I am still not able to change to manual.

Infact my campaign just got over. It was a disaster and total waste of money.

Even After following these steps..

  1. Sign in to your AdWords account.
  2. Click the Campaigns tab.
  3. Click the Ad groups tab.
  4. Check the box next to any ad group you want to edit. ...
  5. Click Edit, then choose Change bids....
  6. In the window that appears, you can set your bid to a specific amount, or increase or decrease your bid by a percentage or specific amount.

I get the error reading " Your change was not applicable to any of the selected rows. No changes have been made default max CPC. "

People have had this problem before and have been able to tackle it successfully (Check Here). But i am still unable to figure it out.

that other thread related to using the editor --

not using the account's user-interface directly.

unfortunately, forum-members cannot look directly into any accounts.

if the editor is being used, try using the user-interface

directly rather than indirectly via the editor application.

otherwise, google may be contact directly for account-specific help:
