Hi - I think I've set up a campaign and added billing but campaign not active yet? Is there a time lag or do you think I have done something wrong?

Are you talking about Google Adwords campaign here or about Adwords Express?

 

If you have created your account today itself, then you need to wait for a while till your account becomes active and Google verifies the details including billing info.

 

You also need to check the ad status and once they are approved, they will be eligible to serve properly.

Ah, OK.  I only set the account up today. The campaign (Adwords) says eligible and I have entered card details etc and all looks good but I get the red banner at the top of the screen saying billing details are not added (but they have been). Maybe I need to check again tomorrow.
