Filters don't show up on Home tab

Hello,

When I make filters on the 'Campaign' or 'Keywords' page, they don't appear when I click 'Customise modules' on the Home Tab.

Why is this?

Thanks

Hi J_Leicester,

Thank you for posting on our Community forum. You indicated that the custom filters you created for the "Campaign" or "Keywords" page are not appearing after you click on "Customise modules" on the Home Tab.

Please confirm that you followed these exact steps below (as described on the AdWords Helpout link here). Once you've completed the steps, make sure to refresh your browser page. When I created a test custom filter I could not see it in the Customize modules on the Home tab as you described. However once I refreshed my browser and re-opened the Customize modules, I could see the new custom filters. Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

To create and save a filter, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com.
  2. Click the Campaigns tab.
  3. To see data for a specific period, click the date range menu on the top right corner of the page and select the time period you'd like to analyze.
  4. Click the Filter button above your statistics table on any of the tabs visible from the middle of the page (such as the Ad groups, Ads, or Keywords tabs).
  5. Click Create filter.
  6. Choose the conditions for your filter in the panel that appears. Available options depend on which statistics table you're viewing. A few notes:
    • You can specify multiple restrictions within a single filter. Click Add another to add a restriction. To delete a restriction, click the "X" next to it.
    • To save the filter you've created for later use, select the "Save filter" checkbox. The filter will now be available as a drop-down on the Filter button.
  7. When you're done creating your filter, click Apply. The table automatically updates to show you the data that matches your filter. To return to an unfiltered view of your table, click Close in the filter panel.
  8. Once your statistics table looks the way you want it to, you can download the data in a report. Just click the download button.

Hi J_Leicester,

Since you are still having problems seeing the custom filters from the instructions I posted, I've asked our AdWord Support team to follow-up with you on why you can't see the custom filters. Please expect to be contacted by a AdWords Specialists shortly (if they already have not contacted you since your last reply). Thanks.

J_Leicester, were you able to resolve this issue? I'm having the same problem, but only for certain types of filters (e.g. Ad, Display Network), some work fine (e.g. Campaign, Ad Groups).

Google said not all filters can be shown on the front page.

Did they give you any specific details as to which ones can and cannot be shown?
