Elusive Keyword Planner which I cannot find for the life of me.

Does anybody see the Tools and Analysis on the Dropdown menu when the sign into their Adwords account because I certainly can't see it or find it anywhere. All I see is my Google+ page which does nothing to help me. And I have already created an alternative account. Please advise as I prefer the old Keyword Tool which was so much easier to access than this very elusive Keyword Planner.

Hi, Sharen.

The interface was updated recently, and now you have Home - Campaigns - Opportunities - Tools.

Click on Tools and you'll see Keyword Planner showing up. The old Keyword Tool is no longer available.

Hope it helps.

Hello Sharen,

Another posibility is this : If you click on Tools and you only see what is depicted below, it means you user has read-only access to the account . Apparently read-only access prevents the usage of the Keyword Planner.

Now I noticed that your question is posted in the section "AdWords Express" , the Keyword Planner is available only in the AdWords standard interface, there is no point in looking for it in AdWords express. For AW express, keywords targeting is handled by google automatically.
