Hey there

I am a bit confiused about the display url thingly

let say my landingspage is subdomain.domain.com/someotherstuff.html

and i want domain.com/someotherstuff.html as my display URL is that against the rules or not?

I have read the policy but it is the one options that is not addressed Smiley Happy

Thanks

Hi Dave,

For example, many people have websites on blogspot.com. Instead of just
using "blogspot.com" as your display URL, you should use
"mysite.blogspot.com" instead.

This part of the policy specifically addresses your query Smiley Happy

Yeah i have read that and this is what it makes confusing for me

"If your site is hosted on a domain that hosts other independent entities, include both the domain and path, so that it uniquely identifies your site from all the other sites on that domain."

On my site there are no other "independent entities" all the subdomains are all related to eachother and to the mainsite

Hi Dave,

The information I shared above is only applicable to sites that sit on shared or hosted domains (such as blogspot.com).

Find more information here.

Hi Dave,

You can use only the top level domain name as your Display URL as mentioned in the link shared by Info.
