Is there any way to track individual keyword clicks on the Display Network ?

Hey Heather, how are things?

I suppose you could insert individual track for each keyword on your Display Campaigns and analyse that on Google Analytics. I'm not certain of that since I've never tried, but it's just and idea.

Now, one thing to keep in mind is that keywords for GDN (Google Display Network) are meant to exist as a team or a group of context if I may say. Tracking and analyse individual keywords on Display will only make sense if you have very different bidding strategy among each keyword (causing some words to have more weight than the others). Other then that, I wouldn't give much focus on this, as more as for the Quality of those keywords and the placements that they are triggering.

That's my thinking on this.

Hope this helps.

Hi Heather,

To add on to Leandro's strategy suggestion, if you do want to look at traffic you received from individual keywords you're targeting in a Display campaign with keyword targeting, you can go the Display Network tab of that campaign, then click on "Keywords" in the second row of buttons in that targeting page.

Hope this helps!
Cassie
