Difference between Dynamic Display ads vs. Responsive display Ads

Hello!

I am quite puzzled as to the differences between two display ads.

Dynamic Display Ads can be created via "Ad Gallery" option under "+Ad" button and its document talks about how feed item can be used to update the ads without the overhead of reviewing and approvals.

Responsive Display Ads can be created via "Responsive Ad" option under +Ad" button and its document talks about its ability to display most natively in everywhere.

Does this mean that Dynamic Display Ads cannot be displayed natively in all devices?

Does this also mean that Responsive Display Ads cannot be dynamically updated based on feed item values?

Looking for some good comparisons. It will be a great help to those who have the same question.

dynamic-display-ads and responsive-display-ads are both types of image-ads.

responsive-display-ads respond by fitting into a particular ad-space.

dynamic-display-ads use feed-data to dynamically fill-in an ad's template;

most all dynamic-display-ads are associated with dynamic-remarketing.

dynamic-remarketing dynamically responds to a user's behavior --
after visiting a website, the system responds and reengages the
user, by serving personalized ads, across many different websites.

a very rough analogy --
a responsive-display-ad is like pizza (dough) that fits into any-sized pan;
for non-responsive-display-ads, a set of templates (pans) are preselected;
a dynamic-display-ad is pizza in the same-sized pan with different toppings --
the toppings are the feed-data; the pizza with tailored toppings that follows

a user for delivery is akin to dynamic-remarketing.

both types of image-ads require review and approval --

one difference is, responsive-display-ads are typically reviewed per-ad;
whereas, the dynamic-display-ad's feed-data is reviewed en masse, so
an ad template can be dynamically filled-in, by the system, in real-time.

since dynamic-display-ads are usually tied to remarketing and respond
to user-behavior with personalized ad-content, there are additional rules,
policies, reviews, and restrictions -- mainly related to privacy.

(1) whether or not a dynamic-display-ad can be displayed natively on a
particular device or most devices, depends on the selected format details --
e.g. responsive, non-responsive, particular image layouts, templates, etc.

(2) a dynamic-display-ad can be a responsive-display-ad and use a feed --

a responsive-display-ad can be selected as a type of dynamic-display-ad;
in that case, in the pizza analogy, the pizza can both respond to different

pan sizes and shapes and have different toppings.

ad-gallery is simply an ad-creation-tool, with templates, for many different
ad-formats, including responsive and non-responsive dynamic-display-ads.
