Delay between unpause and ads displaying?

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

Hi!

I saw on a different thread there's a 5-15 minute delay before a "pause" takes effect after it's been requested.

Is there a similar delay for unpause? How many minutes?

Thanks

Hi there;
It's a technical issue until all servers are fully synced. Google does not provide data.
As for pausing ads - keep in mind that you can accrue charges for clicks on ads, until all servers are fully synced, (though, as you mentioned its a matter of minutes)

Delay between scheduled start and actual start?

If we've scheduled an ad to run from, say 1 PM to 2 PM (and it is not paused), will it commence exactly at 1 PM, or is there a delay of a minute or more?

Thanks

@Beej J;

Please refrain from asking multiple questions on the same topic. Please ask any follow up in the original thread, to keep a complete and coherent structure.

I merged this question with your initial one.

Thank you

Apologies.

So is there also a 5-15 minute delay if I've told it to run between 1 PM and 2 PM and it's not paused?

Thanks

There could be a delay. As mentioned Google does not provide data, but an indication can be found in the ad scheduling which once had intervals of 15 mins (now 30 mins)

I would not recommend  setting  a campaign  to a time interval of (exactly) 1hour.
