Creating a Application Specific Password In Google Account

I have set up two step verification for my Adwords account so cannot use Adwords Editor without Creating an Application Specific Password.

The only help i can find which relates to this is this page: https://support.google.com/adwords/editor/answer/1075856?hl=en

However this page relates to an older version of the Google account and is therefore useless.

Can anyone tell me how to create an application specific password.

Many Thanks

Hi Derek
You don't actually need one with the new AdWords editor (Version 11+)
Can you check what version you're using?

Here's the correct document that you need: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en but as I said, if you're using the newer version of AWE, you don't need an app specific password.

Hope that helps.

Glad to hear it!
You're welcome.

Enjoy version 11. Takes a bit of getting used to but it's worth it. Better in almost every way.
