Creating Campaign (tentative example)

Hi,

Can someone help me in creating a campaign right from the scratch (all the steps) as if we are doing it for a client.

Eg. A content writing company in India providing "content writing" / "seo content writing services" for website, articles, blogs etc to the clients in India.

( The company wants to target Google search engine (search and not display network). Taking this into consideration I would request to include all the steps like campaign goal, adgroups + keywords, CPC, adcopy, campaign settings etc... AS IF WE ARE DRAFTING A CAMPAIGN FOR THE CLIENT).

thanks,

Kevin Smith

Hi,

First of all Create a small structure of your Client's requirements.

>>search keywords on the basis of services and product of your client

>> On which network and Device client wants to show their ads

>> Search your competitors and check their keywords via keyword tool

>> Confirm your Geo targeting with Clients

>> Ask them about conversion/Lead (those important actions your customers take on your website, such as a purchase or email signup or any form submission)

For campaign creation you can use Adword Editor or can create online.

If you wants to create simple organised campaign then optimised your website and depends on categories, services or product types those are mentioned on your website.

Some time we get confused that how many adgroups we have to create. So it is strongly suggested to you that number of adgroups don't have any relation with campaign performance. If anything important that is your ad group’s structure which should have tightly themed keywords accompanied by relevant ad copy.

If your adgroup structure is fine then you can get good quality score which helps you a lot in ad positions and cost per clicks (CPC).

The another main important part is your ad copy.

Whenever you create your ad copy then concentrate on few points such as:

>>Your USP (unique selling point) highlight it

>>Include your prices, promotions, and exclusives offers

>>Use Call to action method such as Strong verbs like Purchase, Call today, Order, Browse, Sign up, or Get a quote

>> try to include at least one of your keywords in your ad text

>> Your adcopy should be relevant to your Landing page
