Creating Ad groups on Best performing keywords

Hello,

I keep hearing to create separate Adgroups from my best-performing keywords.

I don't understand the rationality behind this.

Can anyone explain?

Thanks!

Hi @Hector C,

It is not mandatory, just a good household practice. If you keep your mature keywords in their own cloned ad group aside from the ones of questionable value it will merely be easier (sometimes to a great extent) for you to divide your attention and plan your workflow or daily routine. It will not have a direct impact on your ad performance.

Best,

Lakatos

If you give them their own campaign, you can make sure they always have enough budget to perform.

It also makes it much easier to compare relative performance against your other keywords.
