Country Targetting with a Keyword

Hello.

I have a question just out of curiosity.

I'm struggling to understand location targeting with a keyword.

For example, if i was to create a keyword "golf bags uk" in a campaign which is set to US would this advert show in the UK?

If someone could give me some information on this i would be grateful.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Liam,

This keyword wouldn't show ads in the UK, as location targeting is at the campaign level. Ads are shown to users based on physical location and area of interest. In this case, the keyword indicates UK is the area of interest. However, ads from that campaign wouldn't show, as UK isn't a targeted location.

Hope that clarifies!

Cheers,
