Cost of a call

Hi there

When I look at adwords ads on my mobile, I see some which are clearly call-only. However, the ads with call extensions - when someone calls on one of those, does the advertiser get charged at the CPC rate or the Pay Per Call rate?

Thanks

Hi Philip,

Call extensions are part of a regular text ad. Any part of the ad that is clicked on will be charged the same, regardless of whether it results in a call or site visit. Keep in mind that the cost isn't fixed, as it is part of a live auction system with many variables.
