"One" setting is used to count only one conversion when the same person generates multiple leads and converted clicks shows you the number of AdWords ad clicks resulting in one or more conversions within your chosen conversion window. What is the difference between the two?

Hi Prasad,

You may see two types of conversion data in your reports.

1. Conversions reports every conversion made within your chosen conversion window after an AdWords click. ( say 30 days) If a click results in multiple conversions, each of them will be considered.

2. Converted clicks reports every AdWords ad click resulting in one or more conversions. However, even if a click results in multiple conversions, only one will be considered for this metric.

Hi Prasad,

Conversions 1-per click: This means if more than one conversion happens following a single ad click, conversions after the first will not count.

For example, if you have five conversion events, and a single user clicks on an ad, and completes all five of those events, it will only be reported as a single conversion in the AdWords Dashoard.

Conversions many-per click: Conversions (many-per-click) will count multiple conversions per click.
Example - In the same scenario as above, many-per click conversions will report all five conversions in the AdWords Dashboard.

Please find below screenshot of Converted Clicks Vs. Conversion:-

I hope this will help.

Thanks,

Anand
